SYNOPSIS:

Pilot – Opens with a fantasy sequence as the superhero Champion Man is captured by the evil Villainator. This segues back to the apartment as someone passes gas. They escape the smell by going to Shayne’s room, but she promptly chases them away. They then hide in Lances filthy room. Brent and Abby leave while Chad and Lance spy on Shayne through a peephole in the wall. Cut to Abby’s room, which is pitch black. Abby and Brent talk but are interrupted by her parents, off to another party. Back at the apartment, Chad asks Geddy (on the laptop) for ideas on how to get out of work so he can go see Super-she who is appearing at Lance’s shop. Geddy is too paranoid to leave his bunker so Chad goes to the music store to ask Shayne to deliver pizzas for him. She rejects him violently. Chad is then forced to embarrass himself, delivering pizzas to sexy chicks, as he does the Pirate Pizza song and dance for them, while wearing a pirate costume. Chad then goes back to the restaurant to answer phones and swab the floor, while being belittled by his boss, a loon who thinks he’s Blackbeard. To alleviate the boredom, and make the signing at the comic shop, Chad pulls the fire alarm. In the ensuing chaos, he slips and falls, knocking himself unconscious. He dreams he is loved by all and gets to take the day off, but soon comes back to harsh reality and more work. The next imaginary sequence shows Champion Man and Villainator at a prison waiting in line, just like the gang are doing at the comic shop. While waiting to see Super-she, they conspire to kidnap Chad from work so he can join them. Lance and Brent head to the pizza parlor to attempt a rescue and end up getting in a fencing duel with Chad’s boss, using large pepperoni sausages. Lance eventually wins by eating Blackbeards pepperoni and they rush back to the comic shop only to find that Super-she is a total ditz. Disheartened they return to the apartment, where Abby implores them to get real girlfriends to make them feel better. They decline. The final fantasy sequence shows Champion Man triumphant, loudly proclaiming his victory. This is ruined by the old lady downstairs banging on the ceiling with a broom, telling them all to shut up!
