Ricardo Garcia

Hello. My name is Ricardo Garcia. I’m 23 years old and am currently serving in the U.S. Navy. For all my life I’ve been in love with movies. My dad showed me “Pulp Fiction” at 13 years old and it changed my view on film. I fell in love with the cinema. I knew after watching that film, I wanted to make movies. I’ve been acting every since the 6th grade. One of my favorite stores to tell is when I was in high school, my drama teacher, Mr. Shary always would give me B’s on my performances. He said I never “connected with the characters” so he told me to write my own script and perform it and I did and he gave me an A. From then on I wrote my own scenes through the rest of high school and I found that I connected better when I write my own stuff. I’ve always wanted to make films but it wasn’t till I got stationed in San Diego that I found my opportunity to make film was right in front of my face so I started and here we are today. My first short film “Broad” is ready to be shown and shared with people. I currently am in post production of my second film “The Story Of Us” and am getting ready to film my third film “Are You Brandon?”. I can’t wait to share my vision with the world.
