A young woman’s conflicted life battling multiple addictions and questionable choices culminates with an autopsy-like introspective journey when she finds herself locked in a morgue with the body of a long-lost love.

SYNOPSIS:

CORRINE (32), a down-on-her-luck alcoholic who also suffers from hypersexuality, is desperate for a drink and attempts to break into a familiar pub.

In the darkness of a back alley, Corrine mistakenly enters the wrong establishment and finds herself locked in a morgue with a dead body covered by a sheet. She eventually gets up the nerve to pull the sheet away, only to discover DILLON (29), the only man she ever truly loved.

Like a living autopsy performed with words, the misery of her discovery launches a poignant monologue through which Corrine shares the backstory of her tragic life.

The sad revelations add up and culminate when Corrine resolves that she cannot go on and only at the very end is the couple’s true relationship revealed.
