I recently had a musical I've written performed in the Kennedy Center's Page to Stage series. Last year, I had another play, a comedy entitled , included in that series. It was adapted from a novel by Susan Coll. If you're unfamiliar with her work, her novel Acceptance was made into a film starring Joan Cusack.

Another play, entitled The Ghosts of Dickens, received a standing room only performance in the Page to Stage Festival at the Kennedy Center and has been requested by several companies across the country. I have been awarded Individual Artist's Grants by the Maryland State Arts Council in fiction and playwriting, and won first place in another play festival at the Kennedy Center. One of my plays was a finalist at The Emerging Artists Theatre Festival in NY. I’ve also had plays performed at the Source Theater, Writer's Center, Baltimore Playwrights Festival, and many others. My play A Field of Thorns is due to premiere next year at The Essential Theatre, with S. Robert Morgan of The Wire serving as artistic director. Last year, I was honored to have a play in Amnesty International’s Human Rights Arts Festival and completed a positively reviewed run in the Capital Fringe Festival in DC.
