About Davide

David Simon Mazzoli was born in Milan, Italy in 1980 and lives in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and kids since 2011. He started his entertainment career in 1984 as the youngest TV assistant of Mike Bongiorno, the most important showman of the Italian TV history. At the end of the 1990s, he started to work as set designer, sculptor, and then as designer and project manager in his family's company, which operates in the field of entertainment and theme parks (Disneyland Paris, Gardaland, and many others.)

For Prada Foundation, David S. Mazzoli produced one of the most important works by Carsten Höller "Upside Down Mushroom Room" - Synchro System, and the opera "Turn Into Me" by Nathalie Djürberg - (Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale).

David S. Mazzoli is also director and writer for TV Shows and Fictions. He has worked with Mediaset on the realization of many shows; he was a creative and an author for MTV and SKY, senior author for Alice Telecom TV and, again for Mediaset, he created, wrote and directed an innovative format for the prime time of Rete4. In the 2013 Davide S. Mazzoli was one of the founders of BIC Formats, the creative studio who conceived ¡Vaya fauna! for Telecinco, Spain.

In 2011, the book “Radiografia di un Dj che non piace” written by David S. Mazzoli was published by Rizzoli and become Best Seller in only ten days. In 2012, he published another book: “Lo Specchio del Male”, a thriller, with TEA (GEMS). In the same year, Mondadori published “Non Mollare mai!”.

His first book of the fantasy saga “The Magical Lands of Midendhil” is already published in three different countries: in Italy with Sperling & Kupfer (Mondadori Group), in Bulgaria with Egmont, and in Brazil with Saraiva - Benvirà.
In 2015, David Simon started the production of his movie "On Air - storia di un successo" as writer, director and producer. It was based on the novel "Radio-Grafia di un DJ che non piace" and it’s been distributed by Medusa Film. In 2016, David Simon Mazzoli was honored with the award for "best director" at the 13º Magna Graecia Film Festival and he became one of the Audi's testimonials for the 'Innovative Thinking' project.

In 2016, David Simon founded Veradeck ltd: a technology and engagement agency in London, specialized in entertainment, virtual reality and augmented reality. In 2018, he founded +AUMENTA: a creative brand specialized in augmented reality in partnership with a spin-off of IBM.
