About Rich

I know us writers are supposed to have a ‘brand’, but life isn’t pigeon-holed into brands. If you’re lucky, you’ll live long enough to experience every genre of story: comedy, tragedy, family, drama, maybe even some sci-fi, or horror. Growing up, I consumed every Stephen King novel he wrote and was lucky enough to watch Star Wars when it first came out in theaters. I was also lucky enough to have a Dad that loved to tell stories about growing up on on a farm in North Dakota during the depression, and how he moved to the 'big city' of Everett, Washington when he was nine. Which is why I love to tell stories of all genres, because every story should pack an emotional punch...and so should your life. And for that, I consider myself lucky.

I'm an eight-time, top-ten finalist in various contests (PAGE, Screencraft, Big Break), tend to dwell on Family Drama, and am open to writing assignments. I will see my stories on the big and small screen.

I currently reside in Los Gatos, CA with my wife, Kim.

Write on!

Unique traits: I can juggle, ride a unicycle, and love a mean game of darts.
