About Nicolas

Before coming to Pittsburgh, Nick Hurt spent his “early years” in the blissful Green Mountain State of Vermont. Ever since he saw Toy Story in 1995, he has been committed to becoming a professional filmmaker. Before college, he was part of three student film crews which shot on-location in Utah, North Dakota, and Ireland, and he has interned for two summers at Illumination Entertainment in Santa Monica, California. Nick is currently a senior in the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is pursuing a customized track in “Film Production Management” and minoring in Film and Media Studies. In addition to being a coordinator of the 2012 Faces of Others International Film Festival, he is the Vice President and Treasurer of the CMU Filmmaking Club, for which he has produced multiple short films. Nick’s life goal is to be a Hollywood film director/producer whose name is recognized by people in Wyoming.
