Valeria Pellicer

Valeria Pellicer is an illustrator and creature designer currently based in San Francisco, as well as a volunteer docent at the San Francisco Zoo. Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, she is a graduate of Academy of Art University, San Francisco, with a BFA in Illustration (2015).

Her passion for art is matched only by her passion for animals and storytelling.



In 2018, Valeria graduated from the Science Illustration Certificate course at the California State University of Monterey Bay. Shortly after, she interned at the Raymond M. Alf Museum in Claremont, CA.



When she's not watching nature documentaries or brainstorming ideas with her twin sister, Valeria likes reading and playing Pokémon video games.
