About Ellis

My twitter bio pretty much sums me up
"Opinionated screenwriter, script reader, film junkie, with filter issues"
My background consists of a decade in live theater as an actor, lighting tech, and director.
I also have a decade long background in writing romance novels both as a ghost and under a pen name, but my passion has always been in movies. After a year-long immersion into the art of screenwriting, I'm ready to take the voices in my head to the next level.
My first screenplay, "What Dreams May Come" made it to the quarter-final round of the LA International Screenplay Awards.
As goal-oriented as I am, I'm also open to wherever my screenwriting takes me. Whether that is remaining a writer or branching into producing or directing.
