I'm working on a script where the leading lady's name is Aricka Badu. She is called Ari by her family and friends throughout the script. Since her name is close to Erica Badu (the singer) should it be used

Looking for a read. Finishing up my first screenplay and would really like an eye on it for some feedback
Likewise.
No problem bro. Trying to build this network so we can all do something great!
Jason Mirch, Producer and Director of Stage 32 Script Services gave me detailed feedback on my screenplay THE SCREAMING WOOD, as well as suggestions how to improve in order to get it market ready. A real eye-opener and worth every penny I spent for his expert advice. Now almost there with a much improved script.
Almost there dear Jason. A knee fracture, Brexit and the Corona fear caused a writers blockage. Back again with much more insight what needs rewriting.
Thank you for the great advice, sounds like Jason M is the man.
That''s awesome.

Expand commentI’ve been in the Writer’s Room for a few months now, and not missed a session. I like the variety week by week (Breakdown often using movie clips, Pitch Tanks with an Exec brought in to hear pitches, Executive Hour with another exec, and the Write Now challenge where writers are challenged with specific tasks). The breakdown on plot twists triggered me to write a five page short fo the Write Now challenge, in an area I wouldn’t normally explore, and I’m happy enough with the result to have submitted it to a range of contests. The community is international, highly diverse and mutually supportive. Recommended.
How do I set the reminder
Hey Tyler B Breckenridge which reminder is that?
Hi Tyler. I'm RB, Founder and CEO of Stage 32. This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB

I would change the last name. I doubt anyone in the world has that name besides the original Badu. Also 4 million ppl just watched her and Jill Scott during quarantine. Enough ppl know who she is!
Lori, stick with your guns. Aricka sounds fine to me. (All the VERY BEST to you!)
