About Cindy

Cindy Chu is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and spent her childhood doing theatre, improv, and musical theatre/choir. With a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan, Cindy then decided to pursue acting and the film industry when the incentives program was initiated by then Democratic governor Jennifer Granholm. Having obtained her SAG-AFTRA card after working on such projects as Whip It, Red Dawn, and Those Who Kill, Cindy relocated to Los Angeles in 2013, and has since appeared in MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0, New Girl, Game Shakers, and commercials for McDonald's and Universal Studios.
