About Michael

Michael Fine enjoys writing engaging thought-provoking, high concept stories that question societal values and has written five screenplays and four pilots in thriller, drama, sci-fi, historical and comedy genres. Michael sold his first screenplay in 2022 and was hired to write a psychological thriller feature. Michael loves working collaboratively or remotely.

    The Ones Who Got Away Budget: $100K - $1M | Drama After his son is killed in a high school shooting, a grieving father tries to piece his life together when he's asked to coach his son's basketball team even though he knows nothing about the sport. In the process he learns to cope with loss, and coaches the team on how to cope with their loss while leading them to the championships.
