Streaming has become the norm so we are counting on film journalists even more nowadays to sort through "the glut" in order to give us the top 10 or so and lead us to the good ones. As for the "missing data" they were talking about, I do hope that there would be more transparency and that everyone always gets their fair share.

We all miss the social experience of cinema so it's great to have cool alternatives like drive-in's or a private / home theater set up (a luxury, but worth spending on for some people).

Hi Philip. I am not a fan of AI. But the movies like "Weird Science" or maybe "War Games" or even "Eagle Eye" with live characters interacting with AI may be interesting. I still like good old westerns and spiritual movies. I still have the idea for a western slate that may work out once I nail down some project finance (almost there). Hope all is well, Glenn

Find a fiscal agent. That's a non-profit that will act as your sponsor. Then he can donate the money to them. You will end up falling under their charter and you should be making the film for them to exploit, not yourself, but that's how you get around this.

Does he own a business? Could you advertise something for him? Not a donation but a business expense. You don't need a lawyer, you need an accountant.
