Traveling Ed Teja writes poetry, fiction, and songs. A lifelong traveler, his stories and poems are about the places he knows, places that lie in the margins of the world; the tell the amazing, sometimes crazy, stories of the people he meets as he travels between the cracks in the universe. And his travels, and those cracks, run in random patterns.
A former freelance writer and editor-in-chief from Asian Sources Media Group (Hong Kong), he has ghost written cozy mysteries and romance novels for numerous clients as well as publishing books, short stories, and articles under his own name. His fiction includes literary work in magazines such as Ellipsis Zine and poetry in many small magazines (Japanophile, Whispering Shade, Northwoods Journal, etc.) more or less continuously over the years.
Much of his work is rooted in places. The short story INVISIBLE FORTUNE was based on a visit to Cartagena, Colombia, and many of his stories and novels take place in SE Asia, the Caribbean, and Venezuela where he lived extensively. A boat on the Spanish Main was his home for over seven years.
Unique traits: Lover of the strange.
