Cynthia Orsini-Dahl

Hello, I'm a commercial actress stepping into the world of film for the first time and considering VO as well. I'm also developing a career as a model who's not your standard "mature model" with a dash of the rebel. I'm also a relatively new yoga therapy teacher who believes age has nothing to do with not having a life long commitment to fitness embracing the idea that beauty and love of life are what you make it. That's why I love working with inflexible athletes of all ages. They're focused, strong, fast, tough but can "break" quickly since there's no suppleness present. Recently, I've begun taking an acting class to see where this path can take me. I'm originally from Tucson, raised in a private school that stressed the Arts. That education lit a fire that brought me to LA in the early 70s where I worked behind the scenes for the manager of a well-known actress at the time. During this time period, I spent time at an international university in San Diego. 900 students representing 62 countries was a mind-blowing and expanding experience. It's one of the main reasons I look outside the box for answers. After leaving the world of film and television behind, I went into the world of fashion and fabric at the California Mart in LA for about 10 years. I left when I had my daughter and became a recruiter/staffing specialist for over 15 years working with private industries and some government entities. Family obligations took me out of that 9 to 9 world and when my elders' transitions were complete, I was drained and I said to the Universe, "I'm going to be me and do what I love - be creative and not get written up for my creative approach to challenges!" I'm an open book working on my next chapter
