SYNOPSIS:
Jamie is heart-broken. The love of his life, Juliet, has just left him, taking everything. Despite the obvious signs that Juliet had planned this all along and that Jamie really is a “chump”, he refuses to believe it. That is, until he meets Alice, a sexy, no-nonsense bartender, who helps him drown his sorrows. Of course, Alice is not what she appears to be. She is not, as Jamie originally believes, a love interest for him, as she has just been jilted herself. And to make matters really worse, she has been jilted by THE SAME WOMAN. Juliet? Andrea? Whatever the hell her name is…she’s gonna pay! At least that’s what Jamie and Alice decide in a moment of rage and despair. So off they go on… What they believe is going to be a few-hour road trip, turns out to be a two-day adventure of disappointments, excitements, hard lessons and absolutely ridiculous encounters as both Jamie and Alice begin to discover, not only how truly broken their hearts really are, but that this dude and this lesbian have a hell of a lot more in common than they originally thought. Of course, just as they’re about to give up on the whole thing, they get a lead which takes them right into “Juliet’s den”, and they find that while revenge can be very, very sweet indeed, it usually does not come about in a way we could ever have possibly imagined. It also usually asks us to decide what’s really important to us; a very uncomfortable place for both Jamie and Alice as they’re not sure whether they have the strength or wisdom to do what’s right for themselves, or each other.
