Nicholas Burton

I have a couple of screenplay concepts in the pipeline, including, 'Telecast', which I entered into, but came up short in the Page Awards and Final Draft 'Big Break' 2023 competitions. The experience of writing this piece was incredibly fun and, it's furthered my confidence with other ongoing personal projects. These include a potential thriller short-story or novel idea, I've recently started to flesh out.
Coverfly has proven an incredibly valuable learning tool for entering competitions, seeking feedback during the same process. Or even just paying for in-depth analysis of your work before entry into a comp.

I graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2019, with a Bachelors in Film Production, and honed my writing and editing skills. As well as dabbling in basic camera operation and assistance. I would gladly jump at future opportunities to invest more in any of these areas.
As an actor, I am represented by the Australian-based, Agency 888inc., who have proven fantastic (still understated) in helping secure work. Their representation has provided many opportunities for extras work, including, Elvis, Streamline, Harrow, and my first speaking role in a Netflix limited series expected to release in late 2023.
In my private time, I have performed in multiple stage productions through a local theatre company. Recent performances include leading parts in, Wait Until Dark (2018) and Breaker Morant (2022).

My hobbies include reading, writing, drumming, and basketball.
