SYNOPSIS:

Hard Rock Hotel” is written along the lines of films such as “knocked up” and the tv show “Reno 911”. It follows Captain Chris Rivers of the Los Angeles Detention Center.

Chris tells his friend, Sergeant Joseph Johnson, about his recent divorce, and after some convincing, Joseph and Gina persuaded Chris to go out with them to a karaoke nig

At karaoke night, Chris continues to wallow in self-pity and alcohol. Fed up, Gina decides to set Chris up on a blind date.

Once at the restaurant, Chris meets up with his date STEPHANIE, who happens to be deaf, and Chris accidentally calls her “Deafanie” out of nervousness. Chris attempts to seem comfortable with finding out his date is deaf but fails miserably. Stephanie is unfazed by Chris’s lack of charm and asks him if they should skip the date and head back to his place.

After a month, Chris finally tells Joseph how the date went only to reveal he had recently received a message from Stephanie saying him she’s pregnant. Emasculated and feeling as if he is in a downward spiral who’s lost the self-confidence of being captain of a correctional facility, Chris feels as if he will ultimately fail as a father. Joseph attempts to convince Chris to “MAN-UP” and be a father to his new baby.

Only time will tell if he can regain the structure of being a captain in a harsh environment while balancing the struggles of being a new dad.
