About Hunter

Hunter Davis is an award winning writer/director with a variety of contest wins, script options, and projects in development. His past productions include the critically acclaimed documentary, Where My Heart Beats, which received domestic and foreign distribution and was broadcast on television networks across the world. As a director, Hunter is known for his award winning web series, HELL. A. and the digital web commercial, Life in Your Social Network, staring Tom Sizemore & Gilbert Gottfried. As a writer, Hunter has multiple scripts in development, including The Drome, under option with studio producer Lucas Foster (Ford vs. Ferrari, Man on Fire, Law Abiding Citizen) and The Monarch Guild (created by Jason Ancona) now under a development deal with Red Entertainment. Hunter's spec BLACK DUST was the Best Screenplay Winner of the 2020 CWA Awards and featured on The Red List as one of the Top 20 unproduced Action Scripts of All-Time. His contained thriller, Apart won Best Screenplay at the 51st Annual Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Awards and also earned placement on The Red List. Influenced by the original blockbusters of the 80’s and 90’s, Hunter specializes in creating exciting, suspenseful and often terrifying material in the Action/Sci-Fi and Horror/Thriller genres.
