About Lisa

I’ve spent twenty years in the wholesale/retail travel industry. I then spent six years as a wedding/event coordinator. Before that, I grew up in a middle class family, loved sports, photography, and loved watching movies on the big silver screen. By age 30, I had probably seen over 1300 movies. My family was like everyone else’s: two parents, three children, a dog, and a fish. A plan for a happy life was simple. Go to college, get a great job, fall in love, have children, and live happily ever after. But one day, everything in my world changed out of the blue. My second child was diagnosed with autism and all that I knew changed drastically. I began to question everything. I launched an investigation into my own life’s uncertainties and suddenly found the holy grail. I wanted to do good things for the world and make a difference in any way I could. I started writing and creating binders full of things I wanted to do one day to help others. But these plans sat and collected dust for a few years until one day when inspiration suddenly struck. In the meantime I’ve turned my ideas into writings. From this, my scripts “Actors Only Need Apply”, “Chronic Life”, and “Caffeinated Enlightenment” were born.
