Adorée is embarking and taking a risk to another world in her eyes, leaving the U.S behind and moving to London in 2013, and looking for music and acting opportunities to do just that. I am looking to make my mark on the world!! While in college I performed with a Hip Hop and Rock fusion band. I shared the stage with many artist including, but not limited to; Common, MeShell Ndegocello, Erykah Badu, Dead Prez, and Jessica Care Moore. When not performing with this band Adorée could also be caught sharing the stage with the likes of Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell, Rance Allen, Antoinique Parker, Curtis Lewis, Dan Reed (formerly of The Dan Reed Network) and others. In 2004, Adorée was in Hollywood among the 75 finalist on the show American Idol.
With nothing but ambition and a beautiful voice Adorée applied for the Master's program, concentration in Vocal Performance at Howard University's renowned College of Music. Howard, known for producing greats like soprano Jessye Norman, vocalist Roberta Flack, pop singer Donnie Hathaway, accepted Adorée based on her gift...her voice. This experience has allowed Adorée to refine her voice and brush up on techniques that will allow her to be a better artist and performer. "I'm not trying to find a deal, I'm not trying to be like everyone else, I want to explore many different styles of music, i want to explore acting, commercials, studio work, tours, dance, broadway, i want to be apart of the entertainment world fully!! "...this attitude has me searching my soul, my identity in the music that will be a part of who I am as an artist.
