About Kris

Producer and Collaborative Designer Kris Young, after 20+ years experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, made the decision to sell her businesses and pursue her passion of working as an artist. While dabbling in various art forms she fell in love with the art of filmmaking through longtime friend, Director/Producer Terry Spears. Looking to broaden her horizons within filmmaking, Kris attended film school where she expanded her passion for “the look” of visual storytelling. Since that time Kris has gone on to produce 4 feature films with all receiving distribution in both the US and abroad.

A natural collaborator, Kris enjoys working with producers, cast, and crew members to execute a creative vision that celebrates the contributions of each person on set. Pairing her knowledge of the business world with her eye for the artistic detail needed within moviemaking, Kris well suited to create films that are simultaneously entertaining, thought provoking, and profitable while striving to put the best possible story on the screen, regardless of the films budget.
