About Daniel

Optioned screenwriter with a love of all things horror. I'm passionate about writing cerebral and satirical tales involving the supernatural, the sinister, and the strange. I'm not all dread though: I'm a big fan of pop culture (and used to write about it for an entertainment news outlet, where I covered everything from true crime to celebrity gossip). My projects, while fresh and original, tend to be on the commercial side, but as a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, it's also a goal of mine to write LGBTQ-led horror stories that are accessible to mainstream audiences.

When I'm not writing, I'm working in the production office or on set. I've worked on productions for Apple Studios, HBO, and Shudder, to name a few.

Screencraft Comedy Competition Finalist. StoryPros International Screenplay Contest Finalist. I've also had scripts place in competitions including: Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, Screencraft Horror Competition, Stage32's Search for New Blood Contest, Stage32's SciFi & Fantasy Contest, and Final Draft's Big Break Competition.
