To whom it may concern,

I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters in Architecture from The Glasgow School of Art. Since graduating, I have been involved in an exciting variety of different projects within film, Architecture proposals and Visualisations.

I am passionate about film and I have evidence that my experience of an architecture background has been very transferable and advantageous as an Assistant Art Director. I have worked as Art Director & Assistant on a number of varied jobs.

After I achieved my Masters, I have worked as a freelancer in a number of Feature Films, Short Films, Stages, Festival Pavilion designs and Architecture proposals and Visualisations, which you can see in my CV & Portfolio.

Some of this involved:

Drawing a full set of construction drawings (Plans,Sections, Elevations, Window detailing and 3D views)
Liaising with the construction team
Surveying the whole location and completing a full set of existing drawings
Super imposing furniture and fittings within the location so you can visualise variations of the set before it was dressed
Creating a 1:1 plan floor plan so the director could rehearse the scenes off set
Creating mood boards for the Director
Dressing the set
Designing a surrounding housing development around the location, that was 3D printed and used as a prop within the film
Solely designed whole entrance, stage installation and lighting for the Concert.

I will continue to bring my 7 years of experience within the built environment and the past year into all future film jobs.
