Born in Springfield, Ohio, (Hometown: South Charleston, Ohio), I grew up on a family farm. Hold degrees in Mass Communication from Purdue University, Marketing Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and studied Chinese Mandarin at the Defense Language Institute. I spent most of my adult life in retail management, though I have experience in advertising, public relations, computer repair, and vendor advocacy. I am divorced, have three adult children, and I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
