David de Miguel, born in Burgos, Spain, is a passionate and versatile actor whose artistic journey has been as intriguing as his own evolution in the world of film and theatre. From an early age, David demonstrated the sensitivity characteristic of artists, although it wasn't until after turning 19 that he decided to pursue his cinematic passion.
He began his career behind the camera, studying the Audiovisual and Entertainment Production Degree, followed by three intense years completing the Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts Degree at TAI, Madrid. However, his desire to be in front of the camera led to a crucial revelation at the age of 27.
Taking singing lessons, David discovered his love for the stage when he first stepped up to sing "Have you ever seen the rain." This was the turning point that led him to explore his acting potential. He studied vocal technique with prominent teachers such as Dori Madrid and José María Sepúlveda, while simultaneously joining an amateur theatre company, participating in productions like "The Little Mermaid," "We Will Rock You," and "Mamma Mia!"
Intent on honing his acting skills, he joined Bululú, where he performed in plays like "Papis" and "The Bourgeois Gentleman." At the same time, he took part in several films, standing out in "The Ice Lovers," which later became an award-winning feature film at the Granada Film Festival.
In a radical turn in 2016, David moved to Melbourne, Australia, to improve his English and enrolled in the prestigious "Howard Fine Acting Studio." Under the guidance of Howard Fine and other renowned acting masters, David immersed himself in an intensive year, learning fundamental disciplines such as Foundation, Personalisation, Scene Study, and Singing for actors.
Back in Spain in 2019, David continued his training with teachers like Óscar Mingorance and Roberto Cerdá. Despite the challenges, he has participated in Australian theatrical works such as "Ebbed," "The Reveal," and "Westerly," as well as in short films like "Psicochip," "Dark," and "REM."
Continuously evolving, David has delved into scriptwriting and playwriting, exploring audiovisual production and founding a production company with Álvaro Santos. In 2024, David de Miguel continues to seek opportunities to showcase his talent, technique, versatility, and his burning desire to participate in serious fiction projects. His dedication and experience make him a complete actor ready to dazzle on both stage and screen.
