Quantieshia Brown, this is refreshing to see...a story from the man's perspective when it comes to domestic violence. Such stories need to be told to raise awareness. I think your logline is almost. Avoid the cliché "down memory lane" to make it stronger. Here is an example I threw together. Maybe it can spark some inspiration for you as you "workshop" the logline a bit: "After reestablishing a sense of normalcy to his life, a domestic violence survivor must take drastic measures to protect himself when his abusive ex-girlfriend returns, hoping to control him."
