In 2018 I finally refused to be haunted by what might have been and resolved to make a career pivot: I returned to graduate school in pursuit of my dream to write creatively for the stage and screen. I now work as a screenwriter and script consultant while working on my own screenplays, teleplays, stage plays, and personal essays. My interests revolve around literary adaptation, the neuroscience of storytelling (and the intersection of the humanities and cognitive science in general), and feminism, particularly stories by and about women.
