About Martin
Hailing from Australia and now living in the UK, I’ve been an advertising creative for more than ten years and after longlisting in a CBBC TV pilot competition a couple of years ago, decided, hey, maybe I'd give this screenwriting thing a proper go. Largely comedy writing (the blacker and drier the better), I also love working on animation projects and some drama as well. Semi-finalist (and still in contention) in this year's Shore Scripts Film competition, and the WeScreenplay short film competition, I was also a second rounder in Austin this year and I've had a few comedy animation pilots make the quarter-finals. Overall, been a good couple of years and keen to do even more!
