The Doomsday Kitten’s, a “Prepper Club” gets a chance to put their skills to the test when Light Walker Aliens invade their small town on Christmas Eve.

SYNOPSIS:

Light Walkers is a science fiction/ dark romantic comedy, Christmas script. It has a oddball, misfit , diverse cast, set in Minden, Nebraska know as Christmas town.

Light Walker alien’s invade the town of Minden, Nebraska. It has a population of a little over 3000 residents. Light Walker are using Minden as a practice city. They need electricity to survive. They look like lightning stick figure people. They came to town 90 years ago .Rudy Penner at the age of 10 lost the use of his legs while trying to escape them. Now they are back and Rudy will get his revenge. To survive people must stay off the ground. Rosalind gets a brilliant idea from her 5 year old brother Xavier who is watching 1960’s video tapes of “ Romper Room”on how they can achieve that.

The Doomsday Kitten’s are a group of 4 friends: Rosalind, Louis, & Gregor are the other members. they have a “Prepper “ club. Carver Tyson is the President of the club. Carver’s parents were killed tragically in a house fire when he was 18. Carver was away on a camping trip with his club. The smoke detector had no batteries. After their death he became obsessed with being prepared for anything. He built a bunker on the land where his house burnt down.

Felio Zika and her brother Porter Zika drive to Minden after the death of their mother. Felio is checking out a church for sale. Her dream is to convert into a small town movie theater. She left her fiancee Ethan in Florida because she thinks he is cheating on her. Porter is only there to help her decide if he can do the construction repairs to the church. Porter works for a popular athletic shoe company. He is competing to win top honors with his shoe campaign: “Resilient AF.”The shoes soles are made of a special rubber that can resist high heat. He is video taping regular local people in the shoes.

With Aliens, Preppers, a Christmas pageant , a hero rescue, a robbery engagement, & an assisted suicide, all tied into Edgar Allen Poe’s poem The Raven, this script is unlike any other science fiction movie that I know of.
