The home of America's funniest Italian family the "Luchannis" is where friends and family gather for humorous gossip, insults, and funny conflict. Hilarious discussions always include gossip about the cousin who gave the cheapest wedding gift, and whose funeral the family should boycott!

SYNOPSIS:

This very humorous story instantly goes into high-paced laughter during Sunday dinner inside the home of the Luchanni family. Scenarios played out include; Arguing about the cheap relative who gave the least amount at the family's last wedding, worrying about what the neighbors will think if aunt Tess gets divorced, the altar boy who drinks father Tucci's wine before Mass, the girl with the mustache who looks like Geraldo Rivera, sister Henrietta telling little Butch that Catholics automatically go to hell for getting divorced, arguing about a list of the people who should and should not get invited to the next wedding, shunning the person who did not attend a family member's funeral, and more...

Loudmouth Uncle Carlos starts the arguing by bragging that his son Nunzio is going to be a big movie star because Nunzio will be playing one of the wise men at the church play put on by Father Tucci and Sister Henrietta. Cousin Butch and Grandpa Vinny argue that Nunzio is too dumb to be considered a wise man because he repeated the sixth grade and had to go to summer school. The humorous arguing continues onto scenes which include; Cousin Nunzio explaining to sad-faced little Butch that in heaven people don't get to eat pasta because they don't have mouths and they just float around all day like a little cloud!

The story moves on when Uncle Carlo losses his job at the box factory, and his new job at the sleep clinic does not pay enough. Bankers are ready to put the two-family Lucanni home into foreclosure. Meanwhile, on his way to dress rehearsal as one of the wise men, Nunzio gets amnesia after being hit in the head with a snowball. He then believes that he really is one of the wise men. He meets a street hippy who informs Nunzio that he must go to Hollywood to find the North star. On his journey, strangers believe that he is a homeless man and put money in his pouch. When all said and done Nunzion has enough money to save the Lucanni two-family home from foreclosure leading to a happy ending for the pilot episode.
