About Irine

With screenwriting I am combining two of my lifelong passions writing and cinema. Because of some life circumstances, I worked for many years in humanitarian aid sector but now finally I can fully commit myself to screenwriting and turn my hobby into my profession..

I obtained my BA in English Language and Literature in Tbilisi University, Georgia (country) and my MA in Cultural Anthropology in Modena University, Italy and worked in different international NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) and UN agencies in all continents of the globe providing assistance to displaced people who fled persecutions or natural disasters.

This was a great life experience, an excellent opportunity to encounter different cultures, different mentalities, to meet different people and directly witness their life stories. It is also an unlimited source of ideas for scripts based on real stories of real people with their real problems as well as their countries involved in different conflicts.

Dedicated to You Drama “Dedicated to You” is a present-day psychological comedy-drama about a woman returning home after having fled her country and dedicated her life to travelling, aware that she has to face her past, confront family and friends and discover the truth that she always tried to escape from.
He is Everywhere Comedy “He is Everywhere” is a present-day black action comedy about a pact between a young woman tired of her own incapacity to solve her life problems and considering suicide, and with God who is annoyed that she blames all her life misfortune on him. God has transmogrified as a young man, and accompanies her in her everyday life only to demonstrate to her that she herself can solve all problems without divine involvement if she adopts a right strategy.
