A passionate love story set in New Orleans of Alex, a young American drifter/sculptor and Beatriz, an Italian celebrity looking to escape the attention of stardom. Several years after the affair, Beatriz is dead and recounts a tale from the grave reminiscing about her wonderful, adventurous life cut short as she anonymously comes back to Earth for 3 days dressed in a Roman toga during the New Orleans Mardi Gras Carnival season to avenge her death and see her lover one last time.
