Tanya Hilson

My name is Tanya Hilson, and I'm a storyteller and the founder of “This That Production,” a Performing Art’s Company “Where the Unknown becomes the Known.

A humanitarian to the core, I run a nonprofit organization called weliveon2, which helps to support low-income families and those who have been incarcerated by teaching them computer and job readiness skills. I also started a program called “Sandwiches on Wheels,” where other volunteers and I go out to homeless tents, expressways, and shelters to feed the homeless and those in need.

My passion for writing started at a very young age. Inspired by surrounding events in my life and growing up in poverty myself, and being a victim of abuse, writing became therapeutic for me.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family, loved ones, and friends. I also enjoy cooking, playing spades, watching movies, and writing. My mission in life is to provide a platform where people can grow and showcase their talent.
