Lauren Schwein is a comedy writer and performer living in Los Angeles. She was a member of the UCB Mess Hall Team, Aunt Becky; performed regularly with her sketch comedy group, The Monarchy, at Second City; and was a contributor for The Onion's clickbait website Clickhole for two years. Her live-action pilot, Marriage is a Joke, won Stage 32's 1st Annual TV Comedy Writing Contest and was a finalist in the 2021 Script Summit Screenplay Contest. Her children's animated pilot, Lulu & Popcorn, was a semi-finalist in both the 2020 Shore Scripts TV Pilot Contest and the 2020 Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Screenplay Competition.
