A STORY ABOUT AMERICA'S FIRST ANTIVACCINATIONISTS AND A U.S. PRESIDENT
By Wojciech Korzeniowski

GENRE: Comedy
LOGLINE:

A group of fundamentalists from Texas, having read the Pope's Leo XII letters on smallpox vaccination, decided to go to Washington to force the President to withdraw the vaccination requirement. They believe that the vaccination was invented by a Christian convert, a witch doctor from Constantinople. The group is joined by the farmers and opponents of building radio masts because, according to them, antennas cool the air and attract winter from Canada.

SYNOPSIS:

Anti-vaccinationists tell people they pass on the road that :

Leo XII, Gregory XVI, and Pius IX were personally opposed to the inoculation of smallpox, condemned it verbally as sinful, blasphemous, preposterous, and pernicious, and as an impious challenge to the rights of the Majesty of God, and in spite of the strenuous efforts of Italian physicians, they did not introduce this wretched and foolish worldly fashion into their State; they alone of the reigning monarchs did not allow themselves to be deceived by the jugglers.

Man is the noblest divine creature on earth, endowed with vital and immune strength; the divine commandment, the natural and written law, says: Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not defile, thou shalt not vaccine.

Jesus taught: The healthy need no physician but the sick .

According to them, in Constantinople a witch doctor told gullible people that the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to her and told her to make cross-shaped wounds of Christ on legs, hands and face or on the forehead and to rub them with the pus of human smallpox while lighting a thunderbolt and pronouncing mysterious cures; because it was supposed to be a protection from the smallpox disease. This superstition took hold among the people despite the severe rebuke of the clergy.

Doctors, seeing that it was a profitable business, thought differently, changed their opinion, praised the superstitious operation to the people, and having pushed away the impostors, took it into their own hands, giving it a learned name. The English doctor, Mr. Jenner, heard of this and began to inoculate English children in this way, which made him famous.

Smallpox and cowpox have affinities with venereal and similar diseases such as tuberculosis, scarlet fever, measles, pneumonia, cholera and cancer.

In schoolchildren vaccination causes moral corruption (onanism) because the venomous vaccine irritates the genitals and accelerates sexual maturity.

And girls are commonly plagued by shriveling of the mammary glands.

The group of farmers accompanying them cut down all radio antennas along the way. They believe that they attract cold air, so the frost destroys their cotton crops and vines.
