Bryan Cook is a London based Director of Photography who enjoys working on features, shorts, music videos and commercials.
Bryan was born and raised in Oklahoma where he came to love films and the magic they present. After completing a bachelor’s of Physics (Oklahoma State University), Bryan sought to change paths and pursued two master’s degrees: MLA Film Production and Directing (Oklahoma City University), MSc Cinematography and Post Production (University of Greenwich). He seeks to understand the subjects thoroughly and relishes collaborating with directors possessing unique and distinct visions. He is interested in aiding the director’s story by crafting cinematography that doesn’t call attention to itself.
Bryan is skilled in both digital and celluloid film mediums and appreciates choosing the appropriate aesthetic for the story.
Bryan currently serves as a council member of the British Kinematograph Sound and Television Society (BKSTS).
