About Mike

At an early age, I developed a passion for movies, especially horror. One of my early horror memories was the masterpiece “Alien”. We had just gotten our first VCR and my parents rented “Alien” for them to watch and “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” for my brothers and I. At some point over the weekend, I was able to sneak into the living room and watch some of “Alien”. It was the ending few minutes and it scared the crap out of me…and I was hooked. So that was how it all started. (note: "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" was fun as well)

I later went on to study Film, Video & Photography at NY’s School of Visual Arts, and in 1999 started my own video production company called Absolute Motion (we create commercials, marketing and corporate videos). To help my horror cravings I work on indie films and have co-written 4 feature-length horror screenplays (with more coming soon). I'm currently looking for literary representation to help build my screenwriting career and get my horror out into the world.

On a personal note, I am married with 2 amazing little monsters of my own (Max & Giuliana) and live in NY.
