KEVIN RUIZ (S'ids Lake) is an Italian/ Hispanic filmmaker who has worked in the film industry in some capacity for 15 years, but it wasn’t until four years ago when he decided to write, direct, and produce his own films. His first short film “THE PROBLEM WITH EVOLUTION” won four awards, including best comedy at the LA Cinfest festival. Kevin has gone on to write and direct a total of 21 films, ranging from comedy (THE 7 LIVES OF SARA BLANCHARD, BRUCE WAYNE BEGINS, MILLENNIALITIS, THE STORY TOPPERI), Drama (DEATHPROOF, THE PATRIOT), Sci-Fi (HUMAN REPORT 85616), and his feature film S'IDS LAKE, which he made in 6 days with $25,000.
