About Mario

Hi, My name is Mario “Lonewolf” Allen and I am the genius Jamaican filmmaker.

I don’t work, I play.
I don’t walk, I dance.
I don’t shout, I sing.
I don’t write, I paint.
I don’t desire, I love.
I don’t video, I film.

I am the strange one indeed, the one to be remembered. Telling stories is my life’s work and those will be my final words, within moments of my last breath. This wolf is an artist committed to changing the hearts of men with emotional experiences captured through his lens. Every frame is a masterpiece!

I grew up in the rural parts of Manchester where I honed my filmmaking skills with no resources. Coming from a place with no internet access and no equipment. Just a iPhone 4s and my crazy imagination were my tools. I graduated at HEART TRUST STVET where I found my love for film and used that passion to exercise my skills that further me into NCU film festival where I won a few awards and even GATTFEST where I won a scholarship. After graduating UWI, I embarked on a journey to build my own film production company, which took me 3 years to build. I sacrificed personal time, invested all my savings and starved myself for months, eating mackerel and dumpling as my diet, until I was finally able to launch my company and built a remarkable reputation. Over that period of time, I shot up to 50 Music videos, about 100 commercials, TV shows, documentaries and countless event highlights. With so much time investing in keeping the business alive, my passion suffered neglect, I felt like I lost my path, I was just not doing movies anymore, Bringing stories to life was why I started, but those dreams died. So I created a mini series called CAMPUS (Jamaican Supernatural Series) that went viral and rebirth my love for telling stories again! With no budget and non actors, that were university students, I was able to not only create history but relived the beginnings with lack of resources that challenged my abilities and learn new ways to express myself through the lens. Now I’m able to be recognized as filmmaker and make movies for fun, now I live my dreams and now continue to share my experiences with films and now the rest is history.

Nice to meet you by the way. There’s some things I am about to show you. Keep your eyes wide open, you’ll be seeing me a lot from now on.
