I’m a writer, poet, jobbing actor, singer, ukulele player, freelance artist, linguist, singing teacher and community activist.
I’ve been on the spoken word, storytelling and performance poetry scene for several years following getting the buzz while organising the Leigh & Wigan Words Together Literary Festival in 2012/13.
I’m a steampunk enthusiast, and a regular around the North West at open mic events and festivals and enjoy working in community arts. I have co-founded theatre companies at home and in Spain and I’m a volunteer organiser of the annual Wigan Diggers' Festival. I enjoy improv and have worked in immersive theatre.
Most recently, up to the pandemic, I worked as a professional children’s entertainer skilled in the art of face-painting, balloon modelling and DJing. Self-employed since September 2018. I have PPI, Enhanced Disclosure certificate and my own vehicle.
With Covid-19 affecting all my paid work I am looking to diversify into other ways of working and online acting and voice-over work is an area I’m exploring.
I speak several languages fluently - English, Spanish, French and Italian
