About Arnold

Bridging Worlds

A child of immigrants, Arnold has always aimed to touch hearts, question beliefs, and change attitudes through meaningful stories that mix cultures and bridge worlds.

After receiving a degree in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University, Arnold interned for screenwriter/novelist Ross LaManna ("Rush Hour"), who called his writing "Wilder-esque" -- high praise from someone who worked with Billy Wilder himself!

Arnold's scripts have won, placed, or been nominated in numerous contests and film festivals, including ScriptapaloozaTV, PAGE International, and Action on Film.

Also known as "jimsha" in anime and comic book convention circles, Arnold wrote, directed, produced, and edited the award-winning short film "Looking for Miku", his love letter to Japanese and American pop culture, despite having no prior film production experience.

Unique traits: Anal Retentive: Mocha AE didn't meet my standards so post for LOOKING FOR MIKU took three years since I had to add visual effects frame by frame in Photoshop • Languages: I speak Geek fluently (specializing in Nerd and Weeb dialects). I can also direct you to the nearest restroom in French (Standard), Japanese (Standard), and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Probably.
