(Pilot) Butter: All Fingers Are Note Equal Drama Butter is a story about how immigrants can’t always escape sins committed in their home countries be they their own sins or those of family. In this family vendetta-style one-hour drama, the Tom-King family engage in a two-continent battle with the Zhaos, a Chinese family whose wealth comes from imperializing modern-day Africa. The teaser for each episode opens in flashbacks mostly to Africa, though the main story takes place in America. Bit by bit layers to major secrets unfold. Li Wei Zhao will stop at nothing to kill the Tom-King bloodline even if it means sacrificing his own sons in the process.  After Lei Wei witnesses Abraham Tom’s s car leaving a rendezvous with Li Wei’s wife, henchmen corner Abraham and his brother-in-law George King  on their yacht.  One man loses his head. The other jumps into a shark-infested sea. The truth is, Abraham’s son, a teenage Boy Blue used his car to steal moments with the love of his life, Fan Zhao, a terminally-ill woman eighteen years his senior, and the wife of Lei Wei. Twenty years later the Zhaos go hard attempting to pick off the  next generation of the Tom-King inner circle. The Tom-King men narrowly escape an execution squad in Liberia. Their products get contaminated with pig shit in Ohio. Balthazar and Rick are wrongly detained by ICE agents in Georgia. Shelly gets kidnapped, and nearly sex trafficked, and Boy Blue gets date rape drugged and caught on video having sex with a stripper  who ends up dead soon after. The Tom-Kings realize that to fight a family of dragons, they need a family of dragon slayers, so they forge a partnership with the Forbes cartel, the largest Black drug syndicate in America.
