Susie is a native of Los Angeles and hails from a filmmaking family. During high school, Susie would visit her father on the set of Rocky IV and taught herself photography, which remains a creative practice today. She was lucky enough to travel with her family to many locations around the United States to visit her father on film sets such as RAGING BULL and THE RIGHT STUFF. When a chance to work on the COBRA film arose, Susie left Santa Monica College to begin her film career. With experience in the costume department, production office, and as a teamster, Susie found her home in Visual Effects. Some of the features Susie has worked on are THE NUTTY PROFESSOR I & II, DRAGONFLY, MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, and SERENITY.
In between films, Susie and her partners produced the directorial debut of Shonda Rhimes, entitled Blossoms and Veils. Susie has a heart for service, producing DIGITAL GROOVE, a film program for at-risk high school students, as well as other community services helping young adults break into the TV and Film world.
Susie and Wendy Richardson started Mighty Force Productions in 2019. Stepping back into creating content after each raising their kids. Jumping back into the business to tell stories that inspire, inform, challenge and ignite JOY. They created a slate of projects ranging from features to limited series, optioning life rights, adapting books, and original screenplays.
Susie is also in the middle of writing her first comedy TV pilot about her experience at a Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles, set in the 1980s. Big drama at a small school.
