About Joy
Joy Goodwin began her career covering theater for The New Yorker and The New York Times. She directed documentaries for ABC, ESPN, and History Channel before becoming a screenwriter. A 2020 Film Independent Screenwriting Lab Fellow, Joy currently has screenplays in development with the directors Debra Granik and Nicholas Ma. She teaches screenwriting at UNCSA and is repped by Team 713.
