Bronwen is an international award-winning physical theatre director and writer.
Director / Movement Director Credits Include: The Man Who Laughs - Director (starring Tony
Award winner, James Iglehart), April’s Fool (recipient-NY Int’l Fringe Festival Excellence in
Directing Award), ACCORD(ing) [co-created with Vieve Radha Price | TÉA Creative], Viva
America (B’dway Workshop), The Cherry Orchard (Off-B’dway), Neighborhood Playhouse -

Recent writing work includes: You Can’t Get to Heaven in a Miniskirt (December 2020
publication in MeetingHouse, Dartmouth University’s Literary Magazine), Magpie, a novel
(working title), Tunnels Above Ground (premiered Omaha Int’l Film festival, 2018), a savage,
simple (shortlisted for the Dennis and Victoria Ross Foundation Playwriting Award), and an antiagism
comedic tv series (in development)
In 2014, Bronwen founded SoundingLine Arts, a non-profit company focused upon creating
works that illuminate and explore societal polarization through a blend of installation art,
soundscapes and physical theatre SoundingLine’s first full-length production, “49th Street and
Other Stories” was performed in 2014 at The Ailey Center in NYC. SLA’s most recent work,
ACCORD(ing), a collaboration with TÉA Creative opened to a sold out run at Burning Coal
Theatre and has been invited to perform in Milan.
Bronwen teaches master classes in acting and artistic development at The Actors Studio,
Juilliard, NYU, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, The Producers Club, and Steps. She is
accredited in The Science of Well Being (Yale) and conservatory trained in Meisner, Stanislavsky
System, Michael Chekhov Technique, Laban Movement Analysis, Elemental Work, Theatrical
Clowning (Lecoq), and Butoh. Member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, SDC, and NYWIF.
