I was born in Boston, whisked away to the Australian outback, and raised in the highrises of Hong Kong on wuxia novels and Chinese period dramas before I found my way to Los Angeles. As a bilingual Chinese-American, I write female-led, high-concept drama pilots centering the experiences of women of color that investigate themes of identity and belonging. My scripts have placed in PAGE Awards, Austin Film Festival, Final Draft’s Big Break, ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship, Disney | ABC Writing Fellowship, and WB Writers’ Workshop among others. I graduated from the UCLA Professional Program in Writing for Television in 2018. I’m currently a marketing manager at a software company in Long Beach, for which I’ve been honored as a 2019 Rising Woman in Tech by the non-profit Advancing Women in Technology (AWT), and a 2020 Woman of the Channel by CRN.
