Zahim Albakri

An award winning Malaysian actor and theatre director., in 2011, Zahim co-wrote, directed and acted in Spilt Gravy, a film adaptation of award-winning playwright; Jit Murad’s stage play Spilt Gravy on Rice. After 8 years of negotiations with the Malaysian Film Censorship Board, and numerous re-edits Spilt Gravy was finally approved for release in February 2020. 3 weeks later all the cinemas had to close. Spilt Gravy will now be released online mid 2021.
