Ravaged by a fatal disease and crushing business failures, a rising young boxer puts his life on the line against an unbeatable opponent to save his family from ruin.

SYNOPSIS:

After years of blood and sweat, Billy Miske stands poised on the verge of achieving his dream - a shot at the heavyweight title - when Fate deals him a staggering punch: He’s diagnosed with a rare illness that will end his hope of winning the title. The doctor is adamant; if he wants extend the precious little time he has left, he must hang up his gloves at once. Naturally, Billy is stunned, confused and scared.

He has barely absorbed the news when his accountant delivers a second crushing blow: bad business ‘investments’ have left him buried under a mountain of debt. If he quits the ring his wife and three young children will end up on the street when he’s gone.

For Billy, there’s only one solution to this terrible dilemma and it’s a long shot: wrest the title and a huge payday from the fearsome champion, Jack Dempsey, or die trying.”
