He has barely absorbed the news when his accountant delivers a second crushing blow: bad business ‘investments’ have left him buried under a mountain of debt. If he quits the ring his wife and three young children will end up on the street when he’s gone.

For Billy, there’s only one solution to this terrible dilemma and it’s a long shot: wrest the title and a huge payday from the fearsome champion, Jack Dempsey, or die trying.”

A powerful drama with a compelling protagonist and a rousing, surprise ending, MISKE follows Billy’s courageous real life struggle. Set in the Roaring Twenties, it’s a story of family and honor, and how love and courage can vanquish even the most terrible obstacles.
