As the nation's top doctor struggles to contain a Zombie Apocalypse, she faces off against conspiracy theorists, corrupt politicians and a skeptical public that refuses to accept reality.

SYNOPSIS:

As a new virus that turns people into zombies starts to spread, the nation's top scientist Dr. Vanessa Baldwin temporarily abandons her groundbreaking vaccine research to help initially contain the outbreak. But before long, impatience with mitigation measures and a bungled government response give the pandemic a second wind, exasperated by conspiracy theorists, influencers and random grifters who convince millions that the zombies aren't a big deal--or might even be fake.

With only the White House chief of staff Darren Rothschild on her side, the brilliant Dr. Baldwin uses her scientific knowledge and grit to combat the nation's collective idiocy.

But little does she know that evil White House advisor Felix Dick has hatched a plan to worsen the outbreak, working with a tech billionaire to turn zombified victims into a new slave labor force rather than try to cure them.

When a last-ditch White House summit goes disastrously off the rails, Rothschild convinces a furious Dr. Baldwin not to resign in disgust--and reveals that he has discovered Dick's plan. Using theories developed during her previous vaccine research, she's able to sabotage Dick's operation and ultimately team up with the now-reformed tech billionaire to cure the zombie outbreak and save the day.
